Meet Our 2024 Davis Projects for Peace Fellow!
MIT junior Victory Yinka-Banjo is the PKG Center’s 2024 Davis Projects for Peace Fellow! Victory is partnering with NaijaCoder Inc. and the University of Lagos’s Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory (AIRLAB) to support youth, promote sustainable development, and foster lasting peace in Nigeria.

OVC Staff Council Is Off and Running!
The inaugural OVC Staff Council is excited to hit the ground running. The Staff Council was an idea that came from the OVC headquarters team to help promote cross-office collaboration and create a strong sense of community within the division. This council is made up of 13 staff members from a variety of offices within OVC who are excited to engage in discussion, collaboration, and implementation.
Enhancing the Student Veteran Experience
Since August of 2023, Student Veteran Success (SVS) has been working with the PGA New England HOPE foundation to put together a free golf clinic for veterans and military members who are students at MIT.

CAPD has created an invaluable resource for PhDs and postdocs to help them prepare for their job search. These examples and how-to guides will with help students navigate the process of creating all the documents they might need to take their next steps into industry or academe.
Momentum Program Partners with Blue Origin
Momentum is a 6-unit interdisciplinary design course offered by the Office of Minority Education (OME) during MIT’s Independent Activities Period (IAP). The course is open to all first and second year MIT undergraduates and intends to prepare students for careers in science and engineering.
