OVC Orientation and Onboarding

OVC Buddy Program

The OVC Buddy Program helps create a warm and welcoming environment for all OVC new hires. The program offers additional assistance to new employees as they transition to OVC and/or the Institute. If you are interested in becoming a buddy, please review the OVC Buddy Guidelines and the OVC Buddy Lunch Reimbursement form and contact Kristin McCoy, OVC Senior Human Resources Business Partner.

OVC Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Policy

OVC staff have a responsibility to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other sensitive data they may hold in the course of executing their duties and responsibilities as an MIT employee. It is our individual and collective responsibility to safeguard and protect this data. New OVC employees are required to familiarize themselves with OVC and MIT policy as it relates to PII. All new employees will be asked to sign a copy of the OVC PII policy acknowledging that they have read and understand the policy as well as the consequences of behaving in ways that are inconsistent with the policy. Please print the OVC PII Policy Form, sign it, and return it to Y-Chie Primo, OVC HR Assistant in 7-141 or email yprimo@mit.edu.

OVC New Employee Surveys

All new OVC employees are invited to answer a hiring survey after 7 days and a follow-up onboarding survey at the 90 day mark. Your feedback is important in helping us strive to create the best possible work environment. There is nothing for you to prepare in advance.
