CPW Marks 40th Year

Thank you to all those who helped make Campus Preview Weekend a success! This year, we welcomed 1,089 admitted students to campus between April 17-20, 2025. With 692 events held and countless memories made, CPW 2025 could not have happened without all of you! This year, Admissions staff celebrated 40 years of admitted student programming, with the hope to continue CPW as a tradition and a community-gathering for all of MIT.
A post-CPW survey was distributed which asked admitted students to share what, if anything, changed their perception of MIT during CPW. One admit shared, “The upperclassmen, the faculty (lectures were more engaging and energetic than I thought), and the effort MIT put into this shows how much they care about their students.” Another admit expressed, “it was really the sheer quantity and different nature of activities that made CPW a uniquely unforgettable experience. Everything, from academic and departmental presentations, to wacky dorm events and incredible performances blended together to give me an experience that was both telling of the one-of-a-kind environment at MIT.”
To get a sense of the the multitude of amazing events that took place over the weekend, check out this video that MIT student Jackson Bliey captured in a Tik Tok post.
