TEJI Receives Visionary Award
The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce has selected The Educational Justice Institute (TEJI) to receive a 2024 Visionary Award. TEJI is one of eight local organizations that have been chosen for the Visionary Awards, which celebrate the spirit of discovery and innovation that makes Cambridge unlike anywhere else,” said David Maher, president and CEO of the Chamber.
Maher cited TEJI’s contribution to the community for “creating sustainable solutions to mass incarceration social injustice and barriers to reentry through education and emerging technologies.
“This year, we received a record number of exceptionally impressive submissions. Your nomination, submitted by Sarah Gallop, stood out as particularly representative of the ideals of the Visionary Awards, which are to honor innovators from the business, institutional, and non-profit communities who are truly making a difference in Cambridge and beyond.” Award recipients will be celebrated at a gala event on November 21.
