Celebrate MIT’s Veterans on November 10
On behalf of the MIT Student Veterans Association and Student Veteran Success, I would like to invite you to our 2022 Veterans Day Celebration on November 10. We are excited and honored to be hosting the 2022 Veterans Day Celebration to honor the Institute’s veteran community. This year, we will hold an evening event where the entire MIT community is welcome to come together and build camaraderie, in addition to hearing from local civic and military leaders.
The event will take place 6-10 pm at the MIT Media Lab, 6th floor (Building E14) and will include opportunities for our community to network, have dinner together, and hear from our speakers:
Welcome Remarks
- MIT Prof. J. Kim. Vandiver, Professor & Director of the Edgerton Center
Guest Speaker
- Robert Notch, Col, United States Army, Retired, President of the Veterans Collaborative
Keynote Address
- Cheryl Poppe, Secretary, Massachusetts Department of Veterans Services
In addition to students, faculty, and staff who are veterans, guests will include members of MIT leadership as well as members from the greater MIT community. This will be the first formal, evening event that is being offered to honor our veterans and we would like to make this a special night for all of our guests.
Please RSVP as soon as possible, as we are finalizing our requests with vendors. If you have questions, email liamgale@mit.edu. We look forward to seeing you all on November 10.
