Celebrate our Graduate Students 2020!
How awesome are our graduate students? Let us count the ways!
During the week of April 6–10, MIT will celebrate Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW). GPSAW was started in 1993 by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students as a way to support and appreciate graduate and professional students.
Graduate Student Appreciation Week presents a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate our gratitude for the contributions, impact, and value of graduate students. They inspire us every day with their passionate curiosity, visionary research, and bold innovations.
The Office of Graduate Education is coordinating a roster of events for the week. We will send the updated schedule with times and locations in March, and we will distribute some giveaway items for you to share with the grad students who come to your office.
We encourage your office to plan a celebratory event! Create a new offering (treats in the office?) or add some special pizzazz to an event already on the books (coffee hour?)! Please reach out to Heather Konar (heatherf@mit.edu) or Cathleen Collins (cathleen@mit.edu) if you would like to sponsor an event. We look forward to celebrating our amazing graduate students with you in April.
