Investing in Student Veteran Success

Recognizing a need for support for students who are veterans, OVC recently hired Liam Gale as program administrator for Student Veteran Success. As part of the Registrar’s Office staff, he will work to create a dedicated office that focuses on advocacy, outreach, and collaboration with other offices to improve the overall experience for the military service member, veteran, and family (SMVF) community at MIT. Liam is a veteran himself, and that experience will inform his efforts to develop programming and offer peer support and advising. In addition to strengthening connections within MIT, he will serve as a bridge between the SMVF community and external agencies such as the VA.
