Spring 2023

MIT crew on the Charles River
Dear OVC colleagues,

A change of seasons is in the air (with apologies to pollen sufferers) and of course, on the ground, as things begin to bloom.

We, too, are experiencing some changes by inaugurating a new president and with the upcoming retirement of Blanche Staton who, after 25 years, will soon bid adieu to her professional home and extended family.

Likewise, we are also sunsetting the Institute’s Covid-19 policies and protocols; welcoming a new class of MIT undergraduate and graduate students; celebrating some exceptional staff, instructors, and faculty at the MIT Awards Convocation on May 8; and, of course, recognizing OVC staff at our Infinite Mile Awards ceremony and reception on June 5 and 7!

Best wishes for a beautiful spring and productive rest of the semester.

Sincerely,

Ian
