Celebrating Our Graduate Students

The two-hour guided walk along Boston’s Freedom Trail was led by professional city tour guide and former MIT staffer Ed Ballo.

At the The Mocktails and Masterpieces event, students learned the art of glass etching and enjoyed mocktails and music.

Earlier this April, the OGE teamed up with offices and departments across MIT to celebrate Grad Student Appreciation Week — an annual celebration of the amazing contributions and hard work of our grad students. From April 6 –12, students enjoyed a variety of fun and relaxing events ranging from bamboo planting to chair massages (plus lots of free coffee to keep everyone going). Over 900 grad students participated in 17 events, the details of which can be found at oge.mit.edu/gsaw. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week a success, and stay tuned next year for even more Grad Appreciation fun!
