Update on the U.S. House of Representatives tax legislation, H.R. 1, that proposes changing the current non-taxable status of graduate student tuition reductions to taxable income.

A comparison of the 2013 and 2017 Student Quality of Life surveys indicates that, across all main demographic groups, 2017 respondents are more likely to rate the climate at MIT as “caring” rather than “impersonal.” Source: MIT Office of the Chancellor
